i feel like this.
It’s been forever…
Friday, May 23rd, 2008But, with good reason, we moved! Our new place is practically in the same neighborhood, but I like it SO MUCH BETTER. It’s smaller, but the design is much more thoughtful– I don’t miss the lost space.
The windows here are beautiful, lots of nice natural light.
There is also a DISHWASHER (the kitchen is generally AMAZING, which will no doubt leave more time for art, yay!)
The studio is really really awesome too:
I’ll take better pictures of it soon, that’s the best i can do today. We’ve got lots of artwork to hang, and we’re almost done unpacking. Then, finally, I can make some more artwork. (confession: it’s been awhile) All I have to share today are some weird little sketchbook doodles. Enjoy! and, I promise I’ll post more now that we’re getting settled

Barack Obama
Friday, May 2nd, 2008I’m officially endorsing Barack Obama. Since this is an Art-not-Politics blog, I drew a picture and messed with it in photoshop:
I voted yesterday in the NC Primary (my 1st primary!) Vote Vote Vote!!! Obama’s in town tonight, and I have tickets to go see him speak. If I make it, I’ll be sure to tell you all about it. Yay Vote!
New Work at The Shiny Squirrel
Thursday, May 1st, 2008I am the featured designer this month at The Shiny Squirrel! Jessica picked out some of her favorites to offer for sale in her (totally amazing) shop. The Shiny Squirrel has prints and originals from all types of artists and designers, and I am really flattered to be in the company of so many artists that I admire.
I have several original pieces for sale, including an edition of 9 original serigraphs (silkscreens). Go check out my work, and be sure to browse around the shop for all the other little wonders!
